1000 Miles till home was created by Wendell Berry and WC Challenger Charities, to help returning US veterans in their return to civilian life.
My goal is for me to run, walk, or crawl, 1000 miles in local races and on roads across North Texas. Starting September 1st and ending in June, the 1000 miles will be completed at the 2013 WC Challenger Charities JW Hart PBR Bull Riding in Decatur, TX.
Through the partners program 1000 miles till home, WC Challenger Charities, Military Warrior Support Foundation, and the generous donations of North Texas businesses and individuals like you,we will raise $20,000.00 per home and be able to hand over the keys to homes MORTGAGE FREE to deserving wounded heroes and families.
